Grant Payment Process
Once the project has been completed, a request for grant payment must be made.
Under the CHP Programme, there are two milestones for grant payment. A payment request must be made for each milestone.

Mechanical Completion Certificate
Commissioning Report
Capital Investment Grant Payment Request Form
Feasibility Study Payment Request Form
Operational Report
Capital Investment Grant
An SEAI CHP Programme Mechanical Completion Certificate must be completed and signed by the system installer and given to the heating system owner.
An SEAI CHP Programme Commissioning Report must be completed and signed by both the supplier/installer and the heating system owner.
An SEAI CHP Programme Capital Investment Grant Payment Request Form must be completed and signed by the heating system owner.
Milestone One
The following documents must be submitted to SEAI, in order to make a payment request:
1. An SEAI CHP Programme Payment Request Form
2. An SEAI CHP Programme Commissioning Report
3. Copies of all eligible invoices for the project
4. Proof of payment for all project invoices
5. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
Milestone Two (After one year operation of the CHP Plant)
The following documents must be submitted to SEAI, in order to make a payment request
1. An SEAI Payment Request Form
2. An SEAI CHP Programme Operational Report
3. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
Feasibility Study Grant
An SEAI CHP Programme Feasibility Study Grant Payment Request Form must be completed and signed by the boiler owner.
The following documents must be submitted to SEAI, in order to make a payment request:
1. An SEAI CHP Programme Payment Request Form
2. A copy of the project Feasibility Study (electronic and hard copy)
3. Copies of all eligible invoices for the project
4. Proof of payment for all project invoices
5. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
