Energy Retrofit Seminar - Malcolm Ball
Supporting energy retrofit in the commercial and public sectors
The National Energy Retrofit Programme has been established to drive energy efficiency improvements in all sectors. The programme will be centred on engaging market actors to deliver upgrades efficiently and effectively, including finding new models of finance and contracting. This innovation will be particularly important in driving efficiency action in the public and commercial sectors.
In this seminar, Malcolm Ball, head of the Energy Strategy team in Arup, will discuss recent UK experience with a focus on innovative financing and contractual arrangements to stimulate retrofit projects in the public and business sectors.
This event is part of an occasional series of seminars on technical and policy aspects of energy efficiency organised by SEAI to stimulate debate among commercial and policy stakeholders.
Malcolm Ball is a chartered engineer leading the Energy Strategy team within Arup, providing strategies for reducing carbon emissions and is leading the capacity building exercise at the London Development Agency in response to the Mayors Climate Change Action Plan.
