Smart Cities Forum: The role of Smart Cities and Regions in Irelands Economic Recovery

Hosted by The Lemass International Forum and SEAI

Location- Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Date: 28th October 2010

The purpose of the forum is to heighten awareness in Ireland of the importance of the development of Smart Cities and regions as key drivers in economic development and living patterns nationally and internationally. Smart Cities / Regions initiatives also represent a source of new businesses, jobs and skills.

The forum will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about smart cities initiatives, thinking and practises, internationally and in Ireland, and to engage with the high level panel who will present at the Forum. I attach an outline programme for the forum.

In the afternoon SEAI will launch a call for participation in their Sustainable Energy Communities programme.
