Sustainable Energy Research, Development and Demonstration Programme

The Sustainable Energy RD&D Programme aims to improve the coherence of Irish energy research and development, building a cleaner and more secure energy future, while enhancing our knowledge economy. It does this by:

  • Accelerating the development and deployment of competitive products, processes and systems
  • Supporting solutions enabling technical and other barriers to market uptake to be overcome
  • Growing Ireland's national capacity to access, develop and apply international class RD&D
  • Providing guidance and support to policy makers through results, outcomes and learning from RD&D
