Ocean Energy Industry Forum 21st April 2009
The Ocean Energy Industry Forum meeting was held in Dublin on Tuesday 21st of April 2009. The meeting was addressed by the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Mr. Eamon Ryan T.D. where he launched the Marine Renewables Industry Association (MRIA).
For a number of years the Marine Institute and SEI have convened a forum meeting of the various interests in the Ocean Energy field. The sector has developed significantly in recent years and there have been a number of key developments. With the formation of the MRIA the responsibility for the industry forum will move to the association.
