The Renewable Energy Information Office (REIO)

The Renewable Energy Information Office of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, was established to promote the use of renewable resources and provide independent information and advice on the financial, social and technical issues relating to renewable energy development.

What we do

• Organise conferences, workshops and information meetings on various renewable energy issues.
• Operate a helpdesk, informed by a comprehensive library of materials and publications.
• Publish a range of brochures, newsletters and supplier contact lists.
• Chair and facilitate working groups to address problems and remove obstacles to renewable energy development.
• Exchange information with organisations abroad and co-operate with and participate in international renewable energy activities.
• Market information for prospective developers of renewable energy products and services.
• Provide an advisory service for commercial heating projects.
