One Good Idea Winners 2013
Congratulations to the One Good Idea 2013 Winners!
Students from Loreto Balbriggan were the Overall Winners of the SEAI's search for One Good Idea with their Tree of a Kind entry which developed an education programme for primary school pupils about energy efficiency and climate change. Transition year students Laura Hennelly McCarthy, Victoria Fitzsimons, Megan Freeman, Erika O’Neill, and Orla McMahon showcased their work among 10 competing schools chosen as finalists from around the country to exhibit at the prestigious national final which took place on Tuesday, the 30th of April, in the Mansion House. | Transition Year students from St Aloysius, Co Cork picked up the Senior Winner prize with their project "Change Your Atti-food" which was on the subject of food miles. Congraulations to all four students and their teacher, Gillian Dillon. |  |
 | Junior Winners were from Tullamore College, Co Offaly with their project "Rhythm n' Rubbish" which was on the topic of saving energy at school and recycling. Well done to the 3rd year students and their teacher, Emma Coyne. |
