Becoming a DEC Assessor

To register as a DEC assessor for large public buildings candidates must:

  1. Hold a degree in a building construction related discipline (level 7 under the National Framework for Qualifications)
  2. Attend a DEC Workshop for large Public Buildings. To register for the next available DEC Workshop, please email info@ber.seai.ie
  3. Complete the application form
  4. Confirm you have read and accept the DEC Assessors Code of Practice and Quality Assurance for Public Service Buildings
