News update:

The ACA scheme was extended in Budget 2011 for further three years to October 2014

There are currently over 8000 products listed on the Triple E register and eligible for the ACA. A total number of 52 technologies are covered which enables the ACA to provide incentives to companies across the majority of energy using equipment in virtually all industry sectors.

2011 saw the introduction of the following new technologies

• Solar Thermal
• Heat Pumps
• Inverters for Photovoltaic and Wind Turbines

The Triple E programme was also expanded to allow products be registered under the Microgen banner
