Fans are found in most commercial and public buildings and industrial plants where they are used to move treated air.
 
  • Cut a fans’s electricity use in half by reducing its speed by 20%
  • New or replacement fans should always be specified as ‘high efficiency’ and should not be oversized ‘ fans are a category on the Triple E register
  • For larger applications, a number of smaller fans in series rather than a single large fan will help ensure fans operate at full load which is more efficient than part load conditions
