Domestic BER Examination

All registered BER Assessors were required to pass the Domestic BER Examination by 31 December 2009.
If an Assessor has not passed the examination by this date they will:

• Not be able to upload BER assessments to the NAS
• Not have their details displayed on the Register of BER Assessors
• Not be allowed to continue to offer their services as a BER Assessor

All new applicants (i.e. certified Assessors) seeking registration for the first time must have successfully passed The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland's (SEAI) Domestic BER Examination as a condition of registration.
