We have an exciting opportunity in the SEAI IT Programme Management Team within the IT Department which is part of the Corporate Services Directorate.

The IT Department provides support across all aspects of SEAI operations, with teams focussed on four areas: IT Project and Business System Programmes (PMO), Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and IT Operations including IT helpdesk, IT Change Management and Cyber Security.

Reporting to the Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO), the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations including IT helpdesk, Cybersecurity and IT Change Management. In addition, the IT Operations Manager will also be responsible for ensuring IT contracts are completed in line with public procurement and delivered in line with SLA’s etc.

The role will operate within an Enterprise class IT environment spanning across 4 locations in Ireland.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Transformation Management Office (TMO), which is part of the Corporate Services Directorate. The TMO is responsible for enabling an organisational-wide programme of change management activities in support of the customers served by SEAI and the Climate Action Plan of the Government of Ireland. The role will report to the Programme Manager leading the TMO.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s services.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to administer and support the successful execution of multiple projects through the TMO. In this role, you will often be involved in the day-to-day operations of your assigned projects, working closely with the TMO Programme Manager to prepare plans, timeframes and other documentation to support project delivery. You will contribute to the development of the Transformation Management Office and successfully delivery of projects and programmes across SEAI.

You will provide guidance to improve customer experiences across all touchpoints and support the development and implementation of the Customer Experience Strategy.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Information Compliance Team in SEAI’s Governance and Procurement Department. The Information Compliance/Data Protection Executive will sit in the Governance and Procurement Department and support the Senior Information Compliance Officer/Data Protection Officer (DPO).

The Governance & Procurement Department is responsible for managing the compliance activities of the Authority and includes Information Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit and Risk Management, Procurement and Grants Compliance.

The successful candidate will provide support to the DPO/ Senior Information Compliance Officer on all areas of information compliance in a fast-moving environment and working to demanding deadlines.

They will play a key role in supporting SEAI’s Data Protection Officer in further embedding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the Authority and in monitoring compliance with the Authority’s obligations under data protection legislation. In addition, the successful candidate will also provide support on SEAI’s other compliance obligations across a diverse framework, including, Freedom of Information, Access to Information on the Environment and Ombudsman Complaints.

National Retrofit - Programme Executive (Multiple Roles)

We have multiple exciting opportunities in the Retrofit Directorate, in the Supply Chain programme and Retrofit & DCB programme. The Retrofit Directorate is responsible for delivering energy efficiency and retrofit programmes in the residential and community sectors. The main areas of programme activity include delivering the national retrofit programme and supporting communities to implement sustainable energy use strategies and deliver energy efficiency projects.

These positions will play a key role in National Retrofit for the following two programmes:

Supply Chain Programme – you will be joining a new team supporting the development of the capabilities and capacity of the retrofit supply chain including people, skills, products and materials.

To reach climate targets, we need to scale home retrofit numbers to tens of thousands of homes performing a deeper retrofit. Future programmes are expected to drive significant demand in the wider retrofit market, this will require significant scaling up of the complete retrofit sector from contractors, installers, designers, specifiers, products and materials.

This position will work with programmes across the directorate and its three departments; Delivery, Technical and Communities & National Retrofit. The successful candidate will report to the Programme Manager for Retrofit Supply Chain.

Retrofit & DCB Programme - you will be joining a new team to develop and deploy grant schemes to support homeowners retrofit their homes. Initially beginning with schemes to support DCB affected homes and the delivery of existing and new schemes and the deployment of new technologies and retrofit solutions.

Ireland’s national retrofit programme is aimed at upgrading the Irish housing stock to high standards of energy efficiency and renewable energy usage. SEAI is developing new supports and approaches for retrofitting of our housing stock such as the One Stop Shop service.

You will be supporting the expansion, development and delivery of existing and new schemes and the deployment of new technologies and retrofit solutions.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Retrofit Directorate. The Retrofit Directorate is responsible for delivering energy efficiency and retrofit programmes in the residential and community sectors. The main areas of programme activity include delivering the national retrofit programme and supporting communities to implement sustainable energy use strategies and deliver energy efficiency projects.  

To reach climate targets, we need to scale home retrofit numbers to tens of thousands of homes performing a deeper retrofit. SEAI is expanding our  programmes to support homeowners in specific sectors. The first sector are homeowners affected by Defective Concrete Blocks. Many of these homeowners will be remediating their homes in the coming years and SEAI wishes to ensure that the homeowners, construction sector and our programmes are ready to support these homeowners. This will require adaption of existing schemes and engagement with homeowners and the  sector from contractors, installers, products and materials. 

This position will play a key role in the Retrofit Directorate and will work with programmes across the directorate and its three departments; Delivery, Technical and Communities & National Retrofit. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Communities & National Retrofit.
