We have an exciting opportunity in the District Heating Centre of Excellence in the Decarbonised Heat & System Support Department.

The Decarbonised Heat & System Support Department is new to SEAI and will comprise of the transfer of existing functions plus the establishment of the new national District Heating Centre of Excellence. The existing functions comprise of the Decarbonised Heating and Cooling research function, the Single Point of Contact service for consenting in renewable energy projects and the SEAI Sustainable Energy Communities, Schools and RESS programmes.

The District Heating Centre of Excellence is a national team, who are committed to delivery of programme areas, which include:

  • Market Development - Promote district heating nationally providing leadership and representation for the sector leveraging experience of the Centre of Excellence to deliver informed insights, guidance, and data.
  • District Heating Strategy - Support the development of district heating nationally ensuring strategic objectives and outcomes are achieved.
  • District Heating Support Unit - Support development and deployment of District Heating schemes nationally providing guidance and expertise to the sector.

The successful candidate will report to the Programme Manager of the District Heating Strategy Programme.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Human Resources & Organisational Development (HR&OD) Department. The HR&OD Department is responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leadership Team, and the Senior Management Team to deliver our People Strategy and create an exceptional employee experience.

The role of Payroll and Pensions Specialist is to manage all aspects of the payroll, pension and HRIS administration in SEAI and to provide administrative support to the HR&OD team if required. 

SEAI operates monthly payroll and pension, which is outsourced and processed through an external provider, currently People XD (CoreHR). The successful candidate will liaise with the external provider for supplying payroll instruction, verify data and ensure all instructions are carried out accurately prior to final sign-off. SEAI has full remit for the processing and administration of its various Pension Schemes, including Single Pension Scheme. The software currently used to support is CoreHR- Pension.

We have an exciting opportunity in the SEAI IT Programme Management Team within the IT Department which is part of the Corporate Services Directorate.

The IT Department provides support across all aspects of SEAI operations, with teams focussed on four areas: IT Project and Business System Programmes (PMO), Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and IT Operations including IT helpdesk, IT Change Management and Cyber Security.

Reporting to the Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO), the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations including IT helpdesk, Cybersecurity and IT Change Management. In addition, the IT Operations Manager will also be responsible for ensuring IT contracts are completed in line with public procurement and delivered in line with SLA’s etc.

The role will operate within an Enterprise class IT environment spanning across 4 locations in Ireland.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Transformation Management Office (TMO), which is part of the Corporate Services Directorate. The TMO is responsible for enabling an organisational-wide programme of change management activities in support of the customers served by SEAI and the Climate Action Plan of the Government of Ireland. The role will report to the Programme Manager leading the TMO.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s services.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to administer and support the successful execution of multiple projects through the TMO. In this role, you will often be involved in the day-to-day operations of your assigned projects, working closely with the TMO Programme Manager to prepare plans, timeframes and other documentation to support project delivery. You will contribute to the development of the Transformation Management Office and successfully delivery of projects and programmes across SEAI.

The TMO is responsible for enabling an organisational-wide programme of change management activities in support of the customers served by SEAI and the Climate Action Plan of the Government of Ireland. The role will report in the Programme Manager leading the TMO.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s services. We are looking for a Customer Experience Project Specialist who is passionate about advocating for our customers.

Working within the TMO, you will be required to conduct activities such as analysis of feedback, journey mapping, action planning and continuous improvement to support projects that enhance the customer experience and improve business metrics.

You will provide guidance to improve customer experiences across all touchpoints and support the development and implementation of the Customer Experience Strategy.
