Delivering energy efficiency and retrofit programmes in the residential and community sectors, aimed at upgrading the Irish housing stock to high standards of energy efficiency and renewable energy usage.

Current roles

This position reports to the Programme Manager for Better Energy Homes and Solar PV. The team manages the drive to retrofit Irish homes and promote the rollout of solar PV and other microgeneration technologies to achieve the goals of the Climate Action Plan.

This position will play a key role in Public Sector Programmes. Specifically, this role will be responsible for oversight of a Project Support Unit and Public Sector Pathfinder Capital Programme. Over the last five-year period the SEAI Pathfinder programme has worked with the public sector to initiate, test solutions, and provide capital support for leading projects to develop necessary insight on the challenges that exist across strategic, technical, supply-chain, and economic paradigms. The Pathfinder Programme will have provided support of circa €70M with total investment of €140M though matching funding.
