Current roles

This position will play a key role in the Delivery Department which is part of SEAI’s National Retrofit Unit.  As Programme Executive – Service Delivery you will support the delivery of SEAI’s National Retrofit programmes ensuring strong customer service to our citizens. This will include continuously improving our delivery experience on all SEAI supported programmes by focusing on innovative services that increase customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
 
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s customer service which supports the attainment of Irelands climate change goals over the coming years.

The Communities and Retrofit Department sits within the National Retrofit Directorate delivering energy programmes in community and domestic sectors. The Communities programme has a number of strands which support Ireland’s transition to a low carbon energy future by assisting citizens, schools and communities across Ireland to develop skills and capacity, identify opportunities on how to use less energy, adopt lower carbon options for transport and heating, shift energy use to off-peak times and invest in smart technologies.

SEAI’s Retrofit Reporting and Data Management Programme was created in the Communities and National Retrofit Department in 2022 to implement data management and reporting solutions across the Retrofit Directorate.

The specific aims are: 

  • To develop and maintain a reporting infrastructure that will act as a single source of truth for all internal and external reporting requirements across the retrofit programmes
  • To provide data-driven insights to the retrofit programme teams to enable them to monitor and adapt their programmes to achieve 2030 retrofit targets
  • To provide data services to external stakeholders and promote the retrofit agenda
  • To drive excellence in data management and data quality across the retrofit programmes
  • To work closely with the SEAI Data Governance Programme and other business areas to implement the SEAI Data Strategy
  • To continually improve and grow the data capabilities of the retrofit Directorate and collaborate internally and externally to ensure SEAI extract the best value from their rich data assets.

The position of Programme Manager - New Programme Development and Change will play a key role in the achievement of Ireland’s climate action plan. The role will be in SEAI’s National Retrofit Unit and will report to the Head of Delivery. As Programme Manager you will lead new programme development and manage any change or enhancements to existing programmes The key objective is to support SEAI National Retrofit programmes ensuring that support National Retrofit goal attainment in of the Climate Action Plan.

The National Retrofit Directorate is delivering energy efficiency and retrofit programmes in the residential and community sectors, aimed at delivering on Ireland’s target of upgrading 500,000 homes to a BER B2 by 2030. Key programmes in this area include the National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme (One Stop Shop), individual grants and fully funded upgrades. Community supports including Sustainable Energy Communities, Community Energy Grant, and Community Renewable Energy support also form part of our offering in this Directorate. The Directorate is also responsible for developing and implementing the technical and quality standards required to deliver our programmes at the highest level.

SEAI are currently recruiting for a number of positions in both the National Retrofit and Business Public Sector & Transport Directorates.

There are nineteen positions available that will play a key role in the above Directorates. The successful candidates will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI’s supports and grants to domestic and non-domestic clients, driving vital national retrofit delivery and emission reduction targets, and supporting SEAI’s regulatory functions.
