Project Description
This project aims to improve the standardisation and quality assured wood chip feedstock stream supplied by Coillte to their end-users. The team will determine the optimal drying orientation of wood stocks for the months of storage pre-chipping, and build the knowledge base of the interaction of wind and bioenergy drying. The output from this process should be chip of a quality to allow direct shipment without further drying by air or heat.
