Liz Bonnin, on turning climate anxiety into action

The Broadcaster

In episode 1, Liz Bonnin, Science, Wildlife and Natural History Broadcaster chats to host Jim Scheer about her career in the environmental space and climate anxiety.

Liz Bonnin was born in Paris before moving to Ireland when she was 9yrs old. After studying biochemistry at Trinity College Dublin, she was drawn into the showbiz career presenting UK breakfast television and Top of the Pops in the early 2000s.

However, she decided to return to her true passion, life sciences, completing a master’s in wildlife biology at the Zoological Society of London and the Royal Veterinary College. Combining both her passion for science and wildlife and her natural ability to present, Liz continues to communicate science and natural history on television and through her recent podcast ‘What Planet are we on?’

Liz is passionate about reawakening the public’s curiosity about the world around them and we were absolutely thrilled to have her as our first guest of the season.
