Windows and doors grant

Upgrading your home with energy efficient windows and doors is one of the most effective ways to lower your energy bills. 

  • The grant covers a wide range of replacements, partial upgrades and extensions are allowed. 
  • Eligibility is simple: your home must be built and occupied before 2011 and must have good attic and wall insulation.
  • Use an SEAI-registered contractor or One Stop Shop.
  • Grant amounts range from €1,500-€4,000 for windows and €800 per external door (up to two).
