Geospatial Analyst
Alex is a geospatial analyst with the Energy Statistics team at SEAI. Since joining the team in 2022 he has provided support in GIS solutions within SEAI, such as consolidating complex statistical datasets into accessible, visual formats and maps that represent Ireland at the regional and national level.
Before joining SEAI, Alex worked at The Icon Group in Research and Development, working to develop Earth Observation solutions for the Agricultural Departments in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Most recently, Alex has worked on releasing a Solar Atlas which provides data on the solar energy potential of Ireland and all current and planned solar farms in development.
