Consumer Technology & Smart Grid Programme Executive
Dr Olivier Neu is a member of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Emerging Sectors Team as Executive of the Consumer Technology & Smart Grid Programme, which focuses mainly on developing a Smart Grid Roadmap to 2050, as well as on supporting and promoting smart grid research, innovation and demonstration projects in Ireland. Olivier is Ireland representative for the International Smart Grid Action Network (ISGAN) IEA TCP Executive Committee, as well as SEAI representative for the SEAI Smart Grid Advisory and Implementation Groups, Smart Grid Ireland board, ESBN Smart Metering Communication & Engagement Working Group. Olivier holds a BSc/MSc in Materials Engineering from Polytech Marseille (France), as well as an ME and a PhD in Energy Systems Engineering from University College Dublin (UCD).
