Are you a company or an Installer looking to grow your business? Register now to be listed as a company or an Installer on SEAI's Business Energy Upgrade Scheme.
About the Scheme
The Business Energy Upgrades Scheme is available to businesses, the agricultural sector, public sector bodies, schools, community centres and non-profit societies. The Scheme provides financial assistance for a range of energy upgrade measures to assist SME's on their retrofit journey. You can learn more about the Scheme and grants available here.
SEAI is now looking for Companies and Installers to register with SEAI and support SMEs who are getting an business energy upgrade. You must be registered with SEAI as a Company or Installer for the Business Energy Upgrades Scheme before your client applies for grant payment under the scheme. A registered company is the contracted entity by the applicant and a registered installer is the only person who can complete the Declaration of Works form. The Installer must be directly associated with the Company nominated for the works in all cases.
The same form can be used to register for multiple measures under the scheme, but you must ensure you provide the relevant required associations and certifications for each measure to allow your registration to proceed.
Register as a Company
For the Business Energy Upgrade Scheme
Companies and installers are required to be registered with SEAI to allow a level of monitoring of the quality of Installers and Companies engaging with the Business Energy Upgrades Scheme. A registered Company is the contracted entity (a company or sole trader) whom the applicant can choose for their energy upgrade installation. The Company agrees to
- abide by the scheme(s) terms and conditions
- only use one of their associated SEAI registered Installers under the specific measure to carry out the works
- complete the Declaration of Works for the applicant
A Company who is not on the SEAI register but is nominated by an Applicant can still assume this role but must be registered before the Applicant can submit their request for payment.
