Monthly energy data is collected from Ireland's main energy sources of electricity, oil and gas. It provides an overview of energy production and distribution for the month.
Tracking effects of Covid-19 on energy supply and demand
This note provides a brief overview of the trends in energy demand for electricity, gas and oil in Ireland since 1st January 2020. This analysis is based on short term data on electricity and gas use from Eirgrid and Gas Networks Ireland respectively, and monthly data on oil products from the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications.
The most recent data included in the demand trends is for November/December 2020 when there was easing of level 3 restrictions.Download pdf
