Product of the Show Awards

The SEAI Energy Show Product of the Show Awards have championed innovative product developments, especially those incorporating smart energy solutions, for many years. Considerable investment in R&D, coupled with rapidly-changing technology, have seen a wave of pioneering products and systems featured at the Show where many manufacturers now choose to introduce their latest innovations. Apart from the prestige of winning such a highly-regarded award, there are very tangible commercial benefits to successful companies that enter this competition.

The Awards are dynamic and ever-changing, reflecting industry developments, the growing exhibitor base, and the many innovative products and technologies coming to the market. Entries to the five categories are subjected to rigorous assessment by a panel of highly-qualified and experienced professionals drawn from building engineering, architecture, facilities management and contracting.

Finalists Announced

The finalists for this year's Product of the Show Awards have now been announced. They are as follows:

Ermen Systems - Airius De-Strat Fan

A destratification fan nominally used for buildings with large ceiling height such as warehouses to move hot air from the roof level to the occupied space. The unit reduces heating by up to 50% and cooling by up to 40%.

Origen Energy - EC Power XRGI CHP

A small scale, plug and play combined, heat and power unit which generates both heat and electricity. The unit has an ERP Energy Class of A++, Low NOx

Grundfos Ireland – Magna 3

The Magna 3 is an energy efficient circulation pump which can save up to 75% on energy compared to a standard circulator. It uses operating data to optimise energy savings with advanced controls for building and energy management.

SmartPower - Complex optimisation robot tool

This tool allows clients to move electricity load from expensive times of the day to cheaper periods with forecasting models that simulates all inputs to electricity prices.

Hevac - Hamworthy Upton

A commercial gas boiler with low NOx with a turn down ratio of up to 60:1. This boiler fits with small plant rooms fully assembled with pipework connection kits. It has a specially designed aluminium heat exchanger for rapid heat transfer.

Ermen Systems - Aspira RHINOCOMFORT

A wireless single room heat recovery unit with air sanitation and up to 90% efficiency levels. The unit can be complete with temperature, humidity and brightness sensors.

Wilo - K10 Borehole Pump

An innovative borehole pump for difficult environments.

Xylem Water Solutions – SmartBall

An innovative free swimming tool to identify leaks in large diameter pipework for hot water and waste water networks. It makes continuous recording of acoustic activity while travelling through the pipeline. Data retrieved can be evaluated to report the presence of leaks along the network of pipes.

Litho Circuits - The Shannon Lantern

This lantern reduces power consumption by 75% compared with traditional solutions and has up to 50,000 hours lifetime.

Switch Distribution - Steinel True Presence lighting sensor

This unity has the ability to detect occupancy with heating, VOX gases and dimming lighting combined in one unit.

EASi LED Lighting – ZERO UV Panel

This low energy light is completely UV free and is suitable for pharma facilities that encourage bacteria as a part of the facilities process.

Glen Dimplex- Zeroth Energy System

This system provides heating and cooling to residential and commercial spaces using a low temperature network of water to water heat pumps. It can improve energy performance by up to 90% when compared to traditional CHP and boiler installations.

Unitherm Heating Systems - LG’s Therma V R32 heat pump

This high energy efficiency R32 air to water monobloc heat pump has a SCOP of 4.45and is rated A+++. The unit can heat water up to 65°C without a need for a back up heater.
