Monthly campaign calendar

Getting started

This month is all about getting started and setting up an energy team, so that you're ready for the first theme in October.

Control your heating this winter

As we approach the colder months and our need for heating increases, we will focus on how to reduce your heating bill. The month will be jam packed with tips and tricks on how you can reduce your need for heating this winter, while also approaching the Halloween bank holiday with a shutdown mind set.

Reduce your use at home

November’s theme will help you inform your staff how to reduce their energy use at home. There will be many activities throughout the month, including tips, fact sheets and clinics with advisors where you can log on and ask any queries which your colleagues may have about energy at home.

Christmas shut down

The Christmas period can be a great opportunity for you and your organisation to make savings on your energy bills. Learning from the shutdown practices you applied during the Halloween bank holiday, we will guide you in preparing for your Christmas shutdown and educating the members of your organisation on how they can play their part.

New Year, New start

The month of January will consist of a variety of elements including an opportunity for you to feedback on the campaign's success to date. There will be help for you and your organisation to plan for the year ahead and developing your own Energy Plan.

Sustainable transport

February will consist of advice and tips on how to improve your personal transport habits; this will include items like active travel, opportunities available through SEAI for the domestic car user, bike to work schemes, information available on carpooling policies etc.
