I am over 20 years with SEAI and am currently the Programme Manager for Electric Vehicles and Demand Generation. I started in a team administration role and was promoted to Personal Assistant to the CEO after two years. I held this role for almost 10 years and worked closely with the Senior Management Team and the Board. I was promoted to a Programme Executive to manage the Education Programme and then moved, after five years into the Transport team.
Along my journey I've had fantastic support from my colleagues and the organisation to develop my skills and knowledge and was encouraged to progress my career. The best thing about SEAI is the people that work here. They are passionate about the what they do, and do it well but are also great fun!
I am extremely proud to work for SEAI and to be a part of the solutions to Ireland's energy and climate challenges.

I first joined the Irish Energy Centre, the predecessor of SEAI, as marketing executive almost 30 years ago. Since then, I have held many different management positions, but always held the communications portfolio, my real passion.
The initial appeal was the importance of the work we do supporting Ireland's clean energy transition and mitigating climate action more broadly. What strook me from day one, and continues to do so every day, is the incredible passion of everyone in the organisation for the work we do. The shared sense of purpose, delivering a vital public good, binds us like no other organisation I have ever experienced.
With a rapidly growing workforce in the last few years, it is brilliant to be surrounded by amazingly talented people across a diverse array of disciplines, all with the same can-do attitude that we need to find all possible solutions to this mammoth challenge. SEAI really is a great place to work.

"Delighted to be part of the SEAI family for the past 10 years. Since starting in an administrative role as part of the Ocean team in 2014, I subsequently moved to become a member of a small HR team 18 months later.
With the encouragement, support and mentoring received by the then HR Manager, I undertook further education and training and continue to grow professionally. I am now the proud holder of the role of HR Manager.
I am privileged to lead a wonderful team, support the progressive and go-getter Head of HR&OD, and be part of such a passionate organisation working towards a better climate for everyone. No regrets in moving to SEAI, come join."

I joined the SEAI in early 2024 and from the start I knew that I had made a great decision. The SEAI mission is so compelling, and the culture of the organisation is second to none. My role is to help the organisation transform and I am proud to be playing my part in helping the SEAI to deliver its strategic objectives. For me, the best part of working in SEAI is the people that I work alongside. They are a truly wonderful bunch of people, and I can wholeheartedly recommend SEAI as a great place to work.

"I joined SEAI in October 2022 and had only worked in the private sector previously. I was immediately struck by the warm welcome, the passion and expertise people have to deliver the SEAI purpose, and how exciting and fast paced the organisation is. SEAI invests in supporting and developing people with lots of opportunities for involvement and empowerment to make an impact."
