1.Commercial Retrofit

Thursday, 2:00pm, Seminar Room, Hall 3

With significant targets facing the commercial building stock, this session will explore current and upcoming regulations, including the impact of the revised EPBD.  The session will present practical supports for building owners, featuring real-life case studies on executing works and accessing supports.  

If you are a commercial building owner, tenant or have any part to play in addressing the commercial sector targets, this is the seminar for you. 

2. Bioenergy Developments and Opportunities in 2026

Wednesday, 10:30am, Seminar Room, Hall 3

This seminar will present the policy landscape after recent legislation has changed conditions around bioenergy generation and uptake, particularly biomethane. The session will discuss lessons learned from existing funding models and present current opportunities for bioenergy funding. Attendees will hear from a manufacturer who has secured a biomethane purchase agreement, finishing up with an interactive roundtable discussion on the future of bioenergy generation and utilisation.

Wednesday, 1:00pm – SEAI Expert Stage

Innovation takes centre stage as the winners of this year’s prestigious Product of the Show Awards are revealed. These awards celebrate the technologies and solutions pushing the energy sector forward, from breakthrough materials to smarter systems and tools.

4. Traditional Homes Pilot

Wednesday, 2:00pm – Best Practice Arena

Ireland’s traditional and heritage homes require a careful, considered approach to retrofitting. This session explores how the Traditional Homes Pilot supports energy upgrades that respect both the building fabric and cultural value. 

Expect practical advice on:

5. EPBD Recast Update

With the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) now in force across the EU, major changes are coming, including an updated BER scale and the introduction of building renovation passports. 

This session will outline: 

  • What the EPBD means for Ireland 
  • Opportunities and challenges for businesses 
  • Key requirements ahead of the May 2026 national implementation deadline
