Project Description
Broadband power amplifiers (PA) are integral in enabling future high speed wireless communications. Techniques such as crest factor reduction (CFR) and digital pre-distortion (DPD) can be used in conjunction with a high efficiency PA to improve overall system performance and efficiency. The design challenge is to increase the power efficiency while keeping the complexity and latency of these techniques low. This fellowship aims to successfully incorporate such techniques into future Benetel products, establish stronger links for NUIM to conduct industry informed research in the future and enable the opportunity for the fellow to gain industry experience.
