Project Description
The proposed fellowship aligns with the strategic objective of MaREI's Marine Renewable Energy Group to develop industry-driven research areas and to commercialise subsequent research outputs. The goal is for the academic candidate to gain the required industrial experience and expertise in industrial project processes and team behaviour. The objective of the project, to be hosted by OceanEnergy, is to develop numerical tools capable of optimising the OEBuoy wave energy converter design so for maximising the performance of the wave energy converter and reducing cost of wave energy production.
