Data sharing agreement between DAFM and SEAI

Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland is intending to enter into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019.

The proposed agreement, a Data Sharing Agreement between Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine for the sharing of MPRN data will be available for public consultation at gov.ie/consultations/DSA for a period of 28 days, from 16/09/2026 to 14/10/2026.

The public are invited to make submissions by email to [email protected]. Submissions must include the full Data Sharing Agreement name ‘DAFMSEAI 028_260501 DSA for MPRN data’ in the subject line of the email. Only submissions made to this email address will be accepted.

Once the public consultation period has expired submissions will not be accepted. 

Note: As part of the Playbook process the Data Sharing Committee advise the Data Governance Board in relation to Data Sharing Agreements. Please note that personal information in the submission is redacted before it is shared with the Data Sharing Committee. The Data Governance Board receive the full submission as set out in DSGA s(57)(2)(g).
