Project Description
This project aims to develop new analytical tools to support new product development in the Marine Renewable Energy sector. The project builds on extensive research in the field of wave energy devices to accelerate product development in an emerging market segment in the mooring and anchoring sector. The product is a submerged device that reacts to line tensions from the floating structure at anchor. The analytical tool developed by the Fellow will be used to validate the performance and value proposition. The Fellow will join an experienced marine technology delivery team and be exposed to productisation, commercialisation and industrialisation activities.
