Project Description

There are intensive efforts internationally to develop next generation battery materials to enable the transition to a sustainable energy future. Each new material must be thoroughly investigated which takes a significant duration. This project aims to develop a test chip to enable rapid analysis in functional tests. The test chip will validate the performance of current and next phase battery electrode materials appropriate to electric vehicle and grid scale energy storage options.
