Project Description
With a particular focus on the drive to retrofit 500k dwellings the project, led by Technological University Dublin (TUD), aims to assess dwelling overheating risk in Ireland, utilising Dynamic Building Simulation for current and future weather predictions. The project will include for a wide range of building typologies and specifications, configurations and locations and aims to produce an overheating risk assessment tool aligned with the DEAP methodology allowing overheating risk to be assessed prior to retrofit.
