Project Description

This project investigates the sustainable generation of bioenergy from wastewater by developing a novel highly-efficient anaerobic methanogenic biotechnology. This will provide solutions for simultaneous renewable energy generation and wastewater treatment and further contribute to the sustainable development of the circular bioeconomy and the mitigation of methane emissions.
