Project Description
The project will work on a passive vibration controller for the purpose of controlling excessive vibration of OWTs. The latest progress in the field of modern slopped-bottom tuned liquid dampers (TLD) will be combined with a multiple Tuned Mass Damper (MTMD) and the proposed solution will be validated using numerical simulations using OpenFAST software and a laboratory scale experimental study.
