Large Industry Energy Network (LIEN)
The members of LIEN, supported by SEAI, work together to improve their energy performance and inspire others to follow.
210of Ireland’s largest energy users are members of LIEN
144,000people are employed by LIEN members
22%of Ireland’s Total Primary Energy Requirement is accounted for by LIEN members
LIEN members are companies with an annual energy spend of €1 million or more. SEAI work with these companies to improve their energy performance, reduce absolute emissions. We hope Ireland's larger companies will lead on the transition, and inspire others to take action, by sharing their experience. Special working groups within the network have developed best practice guides on how to manage energy performance. LIEN members report annually on energy consumption and projects undertaken to help increase efficiency.View the LIEN members list
