How to register
Documents you will need in order to register
Please have the below supporting documents ready before you start your online registration.
- A sample of a Window and door Declaration of Performance (DoP) that attests conformity to EN 14351-1:2006+A2:2016
- Contractor Declaration of Insurance form
- Tax Clearance number
- Company registration number (CRN)
As part of the registration process Contractors will also be asked to provide information on Nominated Personnel. Sign off of works by approved personnel at the point of installation is a key part of the Declaration of Works, which is a key document in grant payment.
You are responsible to ensure that competent person (as per building regulations) sign off works and that these personnel are listed as Nominated Persons on your registration.

Your responsibilities
Similar to all contractors register with SEAI under the Better Energy Homes Scheme, you must agree to carry out all works in accordance with SEAI standards.
