About One Good Idea

The SEAI One Good Idea has run for the last 13 years but will not be running in 2020/2021. The competition is all about students taking action on saving energy and climate change while inspiring others to join in. Students can still take action by using the resources on this page. The campaign toollkit and the 2020 winners can give you some inspiration. Check back with us again about other competition updates.

Inspire people to take action

We all use energy every day at home, in school, and when we travel. Could we use less energy and still meet our needs? Why not do a project on taking action in your school or community. This could be part of the schools Green Flag or perhaps you could make it into a CBA for the Junior Cycle. Use the campaign toolkit below to give you some ideas on how encouage people to take action.
